In all of our work on studio edition pieces and unique items for clients, we endeavor to create objects of simplicity and elegance - objects which clearly convey the intent of the original design.   The complementary skills and combined strength of the team are the most important tools in this process.

IDEO's design for a "fish skyscraper" was conceived for Petchitecture — an auction of one-of-a-kind pet habitats to benefit PAWS, a San Francisco non-profit. Free-formed spheres were joined to become a massive, water-tight column, ready for immediate occupancy.

In this instance the designer left only a pencil sketch and the license to interpret size, volume and proportion. From start to finish in a speedy three weeks, all questions regarding fabrication and finish were decided and executed based on the initial conversation and our understanding of the design intent.
