In all of our work on studio edition pieces and unique items for clients, we endeavor to create objects of simplicity and elegance - objects which clearly convey the intent of the original design.   The complementary skills and combined strength of the team are the most important tools in this process.

Gay Outlaw's work has never been constrained by any attachment to a particular material - rather, her obsession with one particular color of vinyl, or the repeating pattern of convoluted foam, will assert itself long enough to propel her through the realization of one piece. Never settling in, she's on to the next idea before the first is complete.

Outlaw has brought several projects to the studio knowing how to explain what she wants, and trusting Jeff to render the components in glass. Some projects have meant producing automated molds for blown parts, while others were produced in kilns by slumping hand-rolled sheet glass onto forms that Gay produced in her own studio.
